Wedding Moved

Posted by Nicole Condarco Cantu Rodriquez on March 10, 2010 at 2:51 PM Comments comments (0)

Once again we unfortunatly had to move our wedding to August of 2010. I swear will will get married one day! I hadn't been able to update anything in so long because I've been without a computer. So sorry.

Lost my job in Oct. due to health reasons. But I'm still looking for work. Things are still moving along, and with God's blessing we will get it done. I have lots of help so I know we can make it happen. We are legally married but still want to enjoy celebrating with all of our friends and family.

In a way it's all worked out for the best, even loosing my job. It's given me time to get healthier, and to take care of Lupe, my grandma. She's been ill, but we are keeping on her.

So, hope to get to be the bride before I croak...LOL!

Nicole's Wedding

YES! Finally, I have a date. Things are starting to come together. We will be getting married March 13, 2010 in Amarillo, Texas. All are more than welocme. If you think you'd like to attend please email me your info and how many so I can be sure to send you an invite. My email is snrx2@yahoo.com

Things are stressful to say the least but I am so super excited. Steven is even jumping on board and giving his imput here and there. I hope I will see the room filled with friends and family on that special day.

Update on my health. I've been doing better. My doctors are still going down the list ruling things out as we go. Lupus is still at the top of the list. I feel good and have been keeping my self busy with the wedding and all. My heart and lungs are doing fine. Next stop, the brain!

Nick is doing well in school and has a new baby brother (from his dad's side of course.) So, he's excited about being a big brother now.

Steven is enjoying his job with TDCJ, well, as much as you can enjoy babysitting a bunch of criminals I guess.

So, hope to see you there and I'll let everyone know if the doc ever find anything. I sure hope so. I love you all and hope everyone is doing great.

What a wonderful reunion

It was so great seeing everyone!  We had the best time.  I have to say I asked my grandson Jacob (8 yrs old) if he had made any new friends and he turns around with such a happy face and tells me " No Ita, they were ALL MY COUSINS.  IT WAS AWESOME!"   so from the mouth of a babe;  IT WAS AWESOME.

I also want to Thank you all for the hard work to make it go smoothly and fun.  Liz you were awesome, Diane Scott the food was great, Ross and Diane thanks for the behind the scene work and Rudy the washer tournment was so fun.  And everyone else that I have not mention thank you.

I pray everyone got home safe and lets keep in touch.

-Do we have an estimated number of attendees?--- 200-400 - noonehas really confirmed with me officially so counting is kinda hard.

-How much of funds from sales of t-shirts, etc. will be offsettingthe food, music, etc? 50%, 100%? --- 100% plus if sales go well we willhave overage for next reunion!

-We know Diana is contributing brisquets, so will she getreimbursed from the sale of items? 50%, 100%? ----- I just spoke withher last night and she needs more cash to buy 8 more briskets..... Ineed help sending her some more cash, Diana Scott, 4428 C.R.D. 608,Alvarado, TX, 76009 - 817-408-7589 - Also we will need some help forthe brunch on Saturday, donuts, muffins, cinnamon rolls, juice, milk, etc. Diana said people will show up with food, plates, cups, drinks andplasticware so not to panic!

-Other people are also contributing toward food, how much will beoff-set? 50%, 100%? -------- If people submit receipts we can reimburseafter the reunion.. so we know how much money we actually have first. Ihave an expense report of my own to submit :-)

-What about the cost of the DJ? (I think my sister-in-law Beatricegot the DJ confirmed, but not sure)? I heard the DJ was $250 but I donot know who paid for it, I was hoping they would submit an expense toget reimbursed.

-Uncle Joe wants to help as well, and there is still $100-duetowards the venue. Can someone contact him and ask if he can mail thefunds to Haydee? That could be his contribution. ------ I called uncleJoe twice with no return call, I do not think he knows my name..... Ialso do not know anything about the coke stevenson center rentaleither.

-Do we know how much money has been made so far? We have raised $770.00 thus far. All was spent on t-shirt order.

I hope I answered everyone's questions. I am working on the welcomepacket for the reunion as we speak, and starting on the PHOTO DVDtomorrow.

A list of items to be sold and raffled off will be posted SOON!

I do not have very many photos of the CARLOS clan........ !!!!!!!!! So get to sending or UPLOADING those ASAP!
